Skagit Valley Tulip Festival takes place in April every year in Mt Vernon, Washington, USA. It is a magical experience to be in the fields with millions of tulips blooms all around. The farmers of Skagit Valley invite many visitors to take a scenic drive through their lanes or visit their farms for a spectacular tulip display.
The festival is designed as a driving tour, and the fields are located in the valley between La Conner and Mount Vernon. There are two farms that you can visit Tulip Town and Roozengaarde, and every day various events take place on each farm. Moreover, you can simply drive around and enjoy the country roads with spectacular tulip bloom. It is a great way to enjoy a day out with your family on a budget.
How to get there
If you are coming from Vancouver, Canada to visit the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Enter the USA from Peace Arch Border Crossing, and drive on Interstate 5 South for approximately 86 Km and then take exit 230. After the exit 230 take WA-20 W and follow the direction on the Tulip Festival map to drive around the country roads and enjoy the tulips. Below is information about two farms that you can visit to walk around the Tulip Fields.
Tulip Town
The Garden is open everyday from 9 am to 5 pm throughout the Tulip Bloom in April. The admission is $7 with children under 6 free. Free parking available for guests outside the farm entrance.

Roozengaarde
The field is open every day from 9 am to 7 pm during the Tulip festival n April. Admission during weekdays is $7, and $10 during weekends. Children under 5 years are free. Free onsite parking is available for guests.

Beautiful post! I have a Skagit tulip post from a year ago and haven’t done the drive this year. I’m not sure what the blooms are like right now but I’m hoping to visit on Friday if things go as planned. 🙂
